You will lead a team of compliance professionals, driving performance, providing mentorship, and handling high-profile escalations. Your expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and experience in a law firm's compliance team will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage KYC checks across a broad range of clients, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead the conflict-checking process and identify potential issues, collaborating with senior leadership on high-risk matters and compliance strategies.
- Oversee the training of your team and wider business staff, ensuring they adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and governance principles.
- Implement and oversee systems to ensure efficient workflows, and that each team member adheres to our values and delivers consistent results.
- Conduct regular audits and monitoring to ensure all regulatory obligations are fulfilled to the highest standards.
- 3+ years' experience in a law firm's compliance team with in-depth knowledge of AML regulations.
- Proven people management experience (2+ years), with a track record of driving team performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
