Role Overview:

The Risk and Governance Manager plays a pivotal role in establishing and executing the compliance reporting and monitoring framework within the Finance sector, with a particular emphasis on Billing, Credit Risk, and Collections. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to new regulations and reporting requirements that affect our clientele.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain processes for integrating compliance within Billing, Credit Risk, and Collections, ensuring ongoing regulatory adherence across both Consumer and Business sectors.
  • Identify compliance gaps, devise corrective action plans, and oversee their implementation while monitoring customer outcomes and managing high-risk areas.
  • Lead compliance initiatives across Billing, Credit Risk, and Collections, ensuring appropriate escalation within Vodafone UK's risk and governance frameworks.
  • Manage customer and operational risks, facilitating relevant forums and committees, and preparing presentations and reports for discussion.
  • Act as a liaison for Governance Risk and Control in key regulatory programs, ensuring compliance across partner teams.
  • Facilitate the Finance risk council, collaborating with Risk Champions to keep all information current and organize governance actions.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in risk management, with a solid understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory environments such as Consumer Duty, FCA, and Ofcom. Experience in a matrix organization, along with exceptional communication and influence skills, is essential for driving engagement and change across the organization.
