Position Title: NHS Charity Fundraising Administrator

Location: Brighton (multi-site)

Employment Type: Full-time Temporary Contract (3 months)

Compensation: £13.28 per hour

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Activities:

  • Engage with patients, visitors, and staff to recruit donors through face-to-face interactions.
  • Promote charity challenge events such as abseils, sky-dives, marathons, and more.
  • Advertise commercial events including MyMusic gigs, comedy nights, and exhibitions in the hospital's Heritage Space.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are well-organized and effectively promoted.
  • Contribute to the development of new fundraising initiatives and activities.
  • Foster relationships with hospital staff to encourage their participation in fundraising activities and enhance the charity's visibility internally.
  • Support the development and training of volunteers.

Communication Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing donors.
  • Effectively communicate the mission and objectives of the charity to inspire donations.
  • Provide information regarding upcoming events and opportunities to support the charity.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to create promotional materials and social media content.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when managing donor information.
  • Assist in the management of fundraising materials and resources.

This position requires an immediate start, subject to compliance checks.
