Position Title: NHS Charity Fundraising Administrator

Location: Brighton (multi-site)

Employment Type: Full-time Temporary Contract (3 months)

Compensation: £13.28 per hour

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Activities:

  • Engage with patients, visitors, and staff to identify and recruit potential donors through direct interaction.
  • Promote charity challenge events such as abseils, sky-dives, marathons, and various other activities.
  • Market commercial events, including music gigs, comedy nights, and exhibitions within the hospital's Heritage Space.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are effectively organized and well-promoted.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative fundraising initiatives and activities.
  • Foster relationships with hospital personnel to encourage their involvement in fundraising efforts and enhance the charity's visibility internally.
  • Support the training and development of volunteers.

Communication:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with both potential and existing donors.
  • Effectively communicate the charity's mission and objectives to inspire contributions.
  • Provide information regarding upcoming events and opportunities to support the charity.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to create promotional materials and content for social media.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in the management of donor information.
  • Assist in the organization and management of fundraising materials and resources.

This position requires an immediate start, subject to compliance checks.
