Position: NHS Charity Fundraising Coordinator

Location: Brighton (multi-site)

Employment Type: Full-time Temporary Contract (3 months)

Compensation: £13.28 per hour

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Activities:

  • Interact with patients, visitors, and staff to recruit donors through direct engagement.
  • Promote various charity challenge events, including adventure activities and marathons.
  • Encourage participation in commercial events such as music gigs, comedy shows, and exhibitions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are effectively organized and publicized.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative fundraising initiatives and activities.
  • Foster relationships with hospital personnel to enhance involvement in fundraising efforts and elevate the charity's profile internally.
  • Support the training and development of volunteers.

Communication:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective donors.
  • Effectively communicate the charity's mission and objectives to inspire contributions.
  • Provide details about upcoming events and opportunities to support the charity.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to create promotional materials and social media content.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain precise records of donor interactions and contributions.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations when managing donor information.
  • Assist in the organization of fundraising materials and resources.

Immediate start is subject to compliance checks.
