We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fundraising Manager to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our fundraising strategy, building relationships with donors and stakeholders, and securing funding to support our charitable activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet our annual targets and support our charitable activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community groups to secure funding and support for our charity.
- Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including corporate partnerships, events, and campaigns.
- Manage and coordinate fundraising events, including planning, marketing, and execution.
- Develop and maintain a database of donors and stakeholders, and ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
- Work closely with our communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote our fundraising activities and engage with our supporters.
- Provide regular reports and updates to our Charitable Funds Committee and other stakeholders on fundraising progress and activity.
- Collaborate with our fundraising team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation.
- Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a healthcare or charity setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community groups.
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation.
- Experience in managing and coordinating fundraising events, including planning, marketing, and execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities.
