Role Overview:

The Senior Business Analysis Lead will operate within the ClearCourse Membership Service (CCMS) sector, guiding, managing, and collaborating with a customer-centric team of Business Analysts. The BA team is dedicated to executing new customer implementations for various CCMS solutions, as well as facilitating customer-driven modifications to their existing CCMS offerings.

This position requires a thorough understanding of current products while adhering to CCMS Business Analyst protocols and procedures. The Team Lead will assist CCMS in enhancing its functions, services, and products to align with objectives set by both internal and external stakeholders.

The Team Lead will ensure that projects meet deadlines and will communicate progress to the Project Manager and clients, while keeping the BA manager updated.

As a Senior Business Analysis Lead, you will be expected to facilitate team meetings, mentor and support team members, identify training and development needs, and address any potential performance challenges through effective management, leadership, coaching, and training.

Working within delivery teams that typically include Developers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects, QA Testing Engineers, Business Analysts, UX/UI specialists, and a ScrumMaster/Project Manager, for both Waterfall and Agile projects; the Team Lead is responsible for maintaining high standards in all BA activities and ensuring a unified approach is adopted while delivering client solutions. Some travel within the UK may be necessary.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:

  • At least 5 years of experience in business analysis within a software development context.
  • A collaborative team player with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Previous experience in membership services is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Visio with experience in workflow design using BPMN.
  • Familiarity with Jira and/or DevOps.
  • Ability to engage with all levels of internal and client organizations, constructively challenging and influencing others to achieve optimal solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • A proven history of following through on commitments.
  • Well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously within project timelines.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A track record of supporting successful projects.
