Gleeson Recruitment Group is proud to be working exclusively with a growing Private Equity-Backed Business on their search for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Our client is a leading Private Equity-Backed Business in the Financial Services sector, committed to delivering exceptional results and driving growth in their market.

Position Overview:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a critical role in all financial planning and analysis, providing strategic insights and support to drive the business forward.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with senior management and the Private Equity firm to support key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and investment analysis.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management and the Private Equity firm.
  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive profitability and growth.
  • Partner with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentations and investor materials.
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a Private Equity-backed environment.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
