Job Title: Head of Governance and Risk

Cyan Partners is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Governance and Risk. This is a high-profile appointment for the firm, and the right individual will have the opportunity for future growth into the Director of Governance and Risk position.

About the Role:

The Head of Governance and Risk will report to the Director of Governance and Risk and will manage and coordinate the work of the Compliance and Quality Team. This team is responsible for ensuring quality and risk management is implemented through policy, procedure, process, risk controls, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of the Compliance and Quality Team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality and risk management
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to the team and senior stakeholders
  • Train and support junior members of the team
  • Take on responsibility and deliver the best-in-class service

Requirements:

  • Experience in a law firm environment

  • Previous team leadership is advantageous but not essential
