Job Description

Domus Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Information & Regulatory Governance. This is a critical position that requires a strong leader to oversee the development and implementation of effective information governance and regulatory compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Information Governance: Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee Policy Management: Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures related to information governance and regulatory compliance.
  3. Complaints and Feedback: Oversee the Complaints, Speak Out, and feedback function of the organization, ensuring that all complaints are handled in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks related to information governance and regulatory compliance.
  5. Information Management: Develop and implement information management strategies to ensure the effective management of information assets.
  6. Audit and Review: Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and information management processes and controls.
  7. Compliance: Ensure that all projects and related data comply with data privacy laws and regulations, and advise on privacy impact assessments as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Degree or degree-level qualification in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  2. Qualifications: Qualifications in governance, information governance, and related subjects such as ISO or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications.
  3. Certification: Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) certification.
  4. Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing governance, risk management, and information management strategies within a complex organization.
  5. Expertise: Expertise in information governance and data protection.
  6. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to social care, governance, risk management, and information management.
