Role Overview

Qualiteach Ltd is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Support Assistant to join our team in a dynamic educational environment. This position involves working closely with students who have profound and multiple learning challenges across both primary and secondary education levels.

Key Responsibilities

As a Special Needs Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in fostering the academic and personal growth of students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with complex needs.
  • Assisting children with various conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, Asperger's Syndrome, and sensory impairments.
  • Encouraging engagement and participation in classroom activities.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • A positive and energetic approach to working with children.
  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A commitment to obtaining an Enhanced DBS check or being on the Update Service (assistance available).
Working Hours

This is a full-time position, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
