Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide pupils in their learning journey through fun play, sensory play, and continuous provisions.
  • Identify and adapt your approach to meet the specific needs of each child, working closely with the class teacher to ensure alignment with each child's EHCP.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, establishing supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
  • Plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups under the general supervision and direction of the teacher.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about working with and supporting children with SEN.
  • Knowledge of/confidence with delivering continuous provisions in line with the curriculum.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and communication skills with children are essential.
  • Resilient and able to reflect on your practice.
  • Ability to follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of pay of £12.90+ per hour depending on experience and additional duties.
  • A full-time role, Monday to Friday (8.30-3.30pm) with a term-time only contract.
