Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a child with moderate learning difficulties in a KS2 class.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one intervention to support the child's academic and personal development
- Work closely with the SENCo and other SEN Teaching Assistants to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the child's needs
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation to meet the child's individual needs
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and training in special educational needs
- Experience working with children with moderate learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time temporary position, working 5 days per week, with a salary of £13.50 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. The working hours are 8:45am to 3:20pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
