This diverse role encompasses a variety of business analytics and support tasks, providing extensive exposure to the inner workings of a B2B scale-up enterprise. A significant portion of the responsibilities will focus on sales and marketing operations, ensuring a seamless flow of information between the commercial team and management for financial reporting, analysis, and planning, alongside offering general business support. Additionally, the role will entail ownership of specific processes that support core finance, risk, and operations activities, with opportunities to engage in strategic change and business management projects as they arise.

As you advance within the organization, you will have the opportunity to tailor your growth and involvement based on your interests and skill set. This may include taking on more focused roles in revenue operations (RevOps) or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

We are in search of quick-learning, adaptable, energetic, and positive individuals early in their careers who are eager to explore various tasks and can be relied upon to manage a constantly evolving set of responsibilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to logically structure problems and solutions are essential; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is highly advantageous.

Scope of Responsibilities

Revenue Operations:

  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from sales and marketing systems (e.g., MQL, SQL pipeline, funnel and conversion analysis) to generate actionable insights or inform management decisions.
  • Identify and address gaps in the sales and marketing processes and metrics to maximize the value of the CRM and other key data sources.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting and dashboards for sales and marketing.
  • Provide general business support for sales and marketing initiatives, including setting up sales and marketing platforms (e.g., to organize and execute sales campaigns), managing marketing content and logistics (e.g., for events, webinars), and ensuring smooth communication and coordination between different teams to achieve commercial objectives.

Core Risk, Operations, and Finance:

  • Provide a sales and marketing perspective to core risk, operations, and finance discussions and planning.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in financial analysis and reporting, particularly concerning commercial activities, investments, and returns.
  • Support the Risk & Operations Manager in maintaining essential risk and legal resources related to commercial activities.
  • Offer additional support for operations and finance processes, including oversight and tracking of company supplier relationships, payments, and cost allocations.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Operations and/or Revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to comprehend, organize, and articulate thoughts clearly and concisely, whether spoken or written.
  • Numeracy and confidence in interpreting and utilizing numbers to support business decisions.
  • Structured and logical approach to problem-solving and time management, ensuring activities and deliverables are consistently and clearly planned, executed, and documented.
  • Ability and confidence to operate at all levels of the organization and support various teams directly and proactively, both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Self-motivated learner willing to embrace new and potentially unfamiliar tasks.
  • Adaptability and commitment to achieving 'the art of the possible.'
  • Passionate about working in a start-up environment and embracing the start-up culture.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Interest in business analysis, technology, and fintech is beneficial.
