Role Overview

The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing the administrative support services provided to our Consultants. This position is responsible for managing the administrative requirements of the Consultants, ensuring smooth operational support for the clinics. The successful candidate will be a flexible administrative resource, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to both patients and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals regarding inquiries related to the Consultant's practice.
  • Provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to Consultants while supporting their practice development.
  • Organize the Consultant's workload, maintaining confidentiality and discretion regarding patient information.
  • Assist clinicians with inquiries about policies, procedures, and administrative systems.
  • Manage all correspondence for Consultants in a timely manner, ensuring accurate maintenance of patient records and appointment schedules.
  • Facilitate the transfer of administrative duties to designated staff as required.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams regarding appointments and investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare administration, preferably within a private practice setting.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient secretarial and personal assistant skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload in both administrative and clinical contexts.
  • Effective communication skills with a variety of healthcare professionals and diverse backgrounds.
