Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the administrative processes related to patient pathways, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for patients throughout their treatment journey. The Coordinator will also contribute to delivering an effective secretarial and administrative service to the Urology and Vascular Service.

In summary, the responsibilities include:

  • Managing the secretarial and administrative processes linked to patient pathways and the operational effectiveness of clinical teams, ensuring proactive resolution of patient pathway issues to meet national targets.
  • Serving as a primary contact for patients, providing access to healthcare professionals, appointment information, and assistance with inquiries.
  • Overseeing clinic profiles to optimize capacity utilization, including regular assessments of clinic usage and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Delivering an efficient secretarial service to the Ear Nose and Throat Clinical Team, which includes the implementation of audio dictation and voice recognition services, along with ensuring quality assurance of documents within the Trust's turnaround targets.
