Position Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a full-time Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to join the High Peak Living Well Community Mental Health Team.

The position involves a dynamic and varied workload, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. We prioritize high-quality care, peer support, and active clinical engagement in service development and management. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Department of General Adult Psychiatry, providing clinical leadership to the teams they will be involved with and supporting ongoing service enhancements.

The Consultant will collaborate closely with both medical and non-medical colleagues from local community, inpatient, and liaison services, as well as local specialist services, to facilitate crisis referrals, assessments, and post-discharge home treatment.

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with GMC with a license
  • Approved clinician status
