Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a full-time Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to engage with the High Peak Living Well Community Mental Health Team. This role emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing high-quality care, peer support, and active participation in service development and management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Department of General Adult Psychiatry, offering clinical leadership and supporting ongoing service enhancements. The Consultant will collaborate closely with both medical and non-medical colleagues across community, inpatient, and liaison services, as well as local specialist services, to facilitate crisis referrals, assessments, and post-discharge home treatment.

Qualifications

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full registration with GMC with a license to practice
  • Approved clinician status
