Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Builder to join our team at Norse Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a range of roofing repairs and other external works on commercial properties across the Alliance.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide a range of roofing repairs and other external works, including flagging, minor brickwork, pointing, floor screening, and other general building work.
• To conduct roofing repairs and strip backs across various roof types and other external ground works, such as flagging and floor screening.
• To complete roofing and general building work to a high standard across the Alliance, predominantly on commercial properties but may include domestic properties as required.
• To complete work as effectively as possible and to the defined standards, including the collection and return of materials to stores.
• To undertake other trades duties within your skills and experience, such as minor brickwork, replacement of gutters, soffits, and facias, flagging, and replacing loft insulation.
• To consult with the scheduling team on the completion of work, including planning work to ensure the most effective use of time and resources.

Requirements

• Trade qualification in joinery or bricklaying (NVQ/C&G)
• Knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations
• Experience of working on old commercial buildings
• Extensive roofing work experience in a similar environment
