Global Revenue Management Controller

Position Overview:

The Revenue Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate revenue reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Oversight: Conduct daily monitoring and management of automated Profit & Loss statements and revenue reports.
  • Trade Flow Analysis: Assess trade flow discrepancies and their impact on revenue.
  • Revenue Accounting Review: Evaluate both manual and automated revenue accounting entries, ensuring adherence to the GL rule matrix.
  • Sub-ledger Mapping: Facilitate the mapping of sub-ledger (PHASE 3) to the main Ledger (Oracle).
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various segments of the Finance department, including Trading desks, Operations, Middle Office, and IT Teams.
  • Monthly Reporting: Monitor and report on monthly positions, fails, and pending items.
  • Transfer Pricing Review: Analyze Transfer Pricing (MODEL B) models and their accounting implications.
  • Balance Sheet Evaluation: Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheet accounts.
  • Revenue Control Monitoring: Oversee Revenue Control Accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Monthly PL Review: Participate in monthly Profit & Loss discussions and analyze variances in Fees prepared by team members.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate and provide global revenue reports to senior management and other departments as needed.
  • SOX Certification Review: Review and ensure compliance with SOX Certification documentation.
  • Audit Assistance: Support external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Project Involvement: Engage in system and product migration projects.
  • Team Management: Oversee, review, and assist the team with the comprehensive Revenue Control process.
  • Issue Escalation: Utilize effective escalation strategies to ensure timely identification of issues, focusing on recurring problems and driving enhancement projects and system fixes.
