Job Summary

Bruin is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Controls Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reporting and control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control global Profit & Loss and Revenue reports, identifying and resolving trade flow issues and revenue accounting discrepancies.
  • Oversee the mapping of Sub-ledger to Ledger, ensuring accurate revenue control accounts, balance sheet accounts, and monthly positions.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams, Trading desks, Operations, Middle Office, and IT Teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
  • Participate in monthly Profit & Loss calls, review variance analyses, and manage the end-to-end Revenue Control process.
  • Review SOX Certification documents, assist external auditors, and provide ad hoc global revenue reports to senior management and other departments.
  • Contribute to system and product migration projects, identifying and resolving issues and driving enhancement projects.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in an accounting role within Financial Services or auditing Financial Services within a practice firm.
  • Experience managing or supervising junior members of the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Controls-focused mentality, identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and excellent accounting, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Product Control knowledge is an advantage.
