About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Janus Henderson. As a key member of our Global Revenue function, you will play a critical role in driving our financial performance and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global segregated mandates team, building relationships with client-facing teams to onboard mandates and manage revenue and rebates.
  • Support the leader of the Global Revenue function in delivering month-end and quarterly reporting, including insightful analysis and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Lead the legal entity control function for one of our regulated UK Investment management companies.
  • Contribute to our Finance Transformation Programme, participating in current state and future state assessment activities, and developing future state process maps.
Requirements
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in financial control.
  • Proven team leadership experience and good working knowledge of accounting standards (U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)).
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Outlook tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work accurately and independently with excellent attention to detail.
