About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our team at Appian. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving major enterprise telco accounts in the Northern EMEA region, building on a strong existing footprint to accelerate growth in this key vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Use company-wide success and use cases as a blueprint and add your own ideas and vertical-specific knowledge to uncover valid business needs for the Appian platform and Customer Success services.
  • Account Management: Build and strengthen your business relationships with existing accounts across all hierarchies, ensuring all their post-sales needs are being met.
  • Sales Strategy: Recommend marketing strategies using Telco industry knowledge and provide status information, including forecast/pipeline information.
  • Customer Success: Identify Appian customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record in selling transformative software applications/projects to major customers, with experience in influencing Digital transformation, Customer services, and Customer experience initiatives at CxO level and consulting partners.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the sales process within the Telco industry, with a high energy level and the capability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.
  • Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, and curiosity, with a detailed understanding of go-to-market strategies, including account segmentation, products, marketing strategies, etc.
