Job Overview

We are excited to announce openings for 10 customer service-oriented positions at our Healix Health office. If you are seeking a fulfilling career in the private healthcare sector and possess exceptional customer service abilities, you may be an ideal candidate for our Member Relations Consultant role.

As a Member Relations Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include managing member treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring that members receive accurate medical information and access to necessary healthcare services. This position emphasizes the importance of strong customer service skills, and no medical qualifications are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inquiries from clients, providers, and members regarding initial and ongoing claims.
  • Collecting medical documentation from providers to support claims decisions and treatment plans.
  • Addressing questions related to clinical treatments or pre-authorization requests.
  • Coordinating care with the appropriate medical teams and facilities.
  • Monitoring ongoing treatment plans to ensure the relevance and appropriateness of delivered care.
  • Negotiating provider fees in alignment with Healix's standards to maintain cost efficiency for clients.
  • Accurately managing documentation within the Case Management System.
  • Supporting Case Managers with high-cost claims as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

  • A solid understanding of the private medical insurance sector and claims processing is advantageous.
  • Proactivity in staying informed about client requirements and the ability to interpret relevant policy documents.
  • A high standard of customer service and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a diplomatic approach.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on the broader context in decision-making.
  • The capability to engage effectively with clinicians and assess information accurately.
  • An awareness of new technologies and developments in the industry to anticipate potential queries.
