Job Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Front Desk Operations Supervisor who will oversee the reception areas and staff at our facilities. The Reception Services Coordinator will deliver high-quality and efficient senior reception and administrative assistance. You will exhibit a commitment to outstanding customer service, recognizing that you and your team are the initial point of contact for service users, caregivers, professionals, and the public. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure seamless operations and interaction with clinical teams. A proactive mindset and problem-solving abilities are crucial, along with the capacity to adjust your communication style to accommodate a diverse audience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and you should be eager to enhance your knowledge and skills through available training opportunities. You will be part of a vibrant and supportive team, with the responsibility to supervise junior staff and set a positive example.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Front Desk Operations Supervisor include:

- Delivering a professional and welcoming reception service to patients, families, and staff.

- Overseeing the daily operations of the reception areas.

- Coordinating staffing resources across the reception teams.

- Utilizing Microsoft Office, SystmOne, and Health Roster effectively.

- Supervising reception personnel.

- Acting as the lead receptionist and primary point of reference.

- Onboarding new team members and providing support to ensure excellent customer service delivery.

- Assisting management in implementing Health & Safety policies and Fire protocols.

- Maintaining a tidy reception environment, ensuring that stationery and forms are current and well-organized, and that equipment is functional.

- Ensuring effective communication between the reception team and other staff members.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent.
