Role Overview
We are excited to announce a senior administrative opportunity within the Centre for Developmental and Complex Trauma (CDCT). The position of Course Administrator for Postgraduate Programmes and Conference Administrator is now available. This role is pivotal within our supportive academic environment.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Education, Research, and Training unit, focusing on improving outcomes for populations affected by repeated adverse experiences and trauma. The CDCT is expanding its portfolio, which includes research, continuous professional development (CPD), and postgraduate courses, as well as an emerging international conference program.
The responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative support for our postgraduate course offerings in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Buckingham. The role also involves assisting in the development and execution of our international conference program, which includes liaising with international speakers and managing the technical aspects of conference events. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be highly motivated, and demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in TEAMs, ZOOM webinars, and Microsoft applications, along with effective communication skills across the academic spectrum, are essential. About the Centre for Developmental and Complex Trauma

- Enhancing the lives and outcomes of individuals affected by trauma
- Bridging the gap between academic knowledge and clinical practice
- Raising awareness of the trauma experiences and care needs of marginalized populations
Our focus is on those often excluded from trauma research and services. We strive to inform and influence national policy agendas to ensure that the voices and needs of these populations are recognized.
