The Therapies Division at Northampton General Hospital is in search of a motivated and dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to become part of their vibrant team.
We cater to patients across multiple disciplines, including Surgery, Orthopaedics, Medicine, Stroke, Respiratory, Oncology, and Haematology.
Additionally, we provide assistance for Outpatient Hand Therapy Clinics, Amputees at the Enablement Centre, and The Macmillan Pre-habilitation / Rehabilitation Team.

Job Duties
Hand Therapy and Enablement Centre
Provide reception services for Hand Therapy and Enablement Centre outpatient services, including patient reception and appointment scheduling. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain clinic schedules, and assist in data entry. Ensure an efficient filing system and provide administrative lead support. Coordinate supply inventory and validate invoices. Report employee absences promptly.
All Therapy Teams
Complete template reports for Therapists and provide administrative support across all therapy areas. Handle document printing, distribution, and file management. Reserve meeting rooms and take meeting minutes as necessary. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize electronic patient administrative systems and contribute to governance activities. Engage in training and development activities while upholding integrity and confidentiality.
Candidate Profile
Education, Training, and Qualifications

Minimum education of GCSE at Grade C level or equivalent.

NVQ2 or equivalent experience, RSA2.
