Regional Sales Associate - West Region

Summary:

As a Regional Sales Associate, your main role will be to support Territory Managers within your designated area. Your focus will be on expanding the business by nurturing existing leads and generating new opportunities, ensuring a robust pipeline for each market you engage with. You will foster relationships with customers, devise strategic initiatives to strengthen the client base, and facilitate workshops and educational events to enhance user knowledge. Occasionally, you may oversee an open territory in the absence of a Territory Manager, allowing you to gain valuable experience in managing your own market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while following up on existing leads in hospitals, office settings, and surgical centers.
  • Assist in organizing local educational workshops and events, including equipment setup and logistics.
  • Participate in national conferences as required.
  • Provide personal assistance with customer service and repair inquiries.
  • Conduct product demonstrations in smaller or rural accounts.
  • Cover open territories within your region as needed.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Clinical Applications specialists during large installations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales is preferred.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in inside sales.
  • Proven track record of success in professional or academic settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time and territory management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A clean driving record is essential.
  • A competitive spirit and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Must be open to relocating within the region within a specified timeframe.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs with or without accommodations.
