Regional Sales Associate - West Region

Position Summary:

As a Regional Sales Associate, your main focus will be to support Territory Managers within your designated area. Your role is pivotal in driving business growth by nurturing existing leads and generating new opportunities. You will engage with customers to foster relationships and develop strategic initiatives that ensure a robust customer base. Additionally, you will play a key role in organizing educational workshops and events to enhance user knowledge. Occasionally, you may oversee an open territory in the absence of a Territory Manager, allowing you to expand your expertise and prepare for future responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while following up on existing leads in hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
  • Assist in local educational initiatives and workshop events, including equipment setup and logistics.
  • Represent the company at national conferences as required.
  • Provide personal assistance with customer service and equipment repair inquiries.
  • Conduct demonstrations in smaller or rural accounts.
  • Cover open territories within your region as needed.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Clinical Applications specialists during large installations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales is preferred.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in inside sales.
  • Proven track record of success in professional or academic settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time and territory management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Highly competitive with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Must be open to relocation within the region in the near future.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs with or without accommodations.
