Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer I - US is a critical role within Fujifilm Corporation, responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our customers in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service work on our diagnostic equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions to technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide expert advice to customers.
  • Conduct installations, de-installations, and repairs of diagnostic equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service appointments, and customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in diagnostic equipment, ensuring that you are equipped to provide expert advice and support to customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of previous field service experience, preferably in a diagnostic equipment environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic equipment and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, technical support teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Working Conditions

The Field Service Engineer I - US will work in a variety of environments, including customer sites, warehouses, and Fujifilm Corporation facilities. The role will require frequent travel, including overnight stays and air travel. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
