We are seeking a Construction Manager to become a vital part of our esteemed organization.

Role Overview: This position is based in the West Midlands and involves overseeing various construction sites within the operational area.

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Manager , your primary duties will include:

  • Ensuring safety protocols and operational procedures are adhered to on-site, which involves conducting thorough inductions, toolbox discussions, and daily briefings.
  • Enhancing operational productivity by effectively distributing tasks, facilitating work processes, and supervising site personnel.
  • Efficiently managing resources by organizing and ordering necessary equipment, machinery, and materials for the site.
  • Collaborating with management to develop safe and cost-effective work strategies while maintaining comprehensive records of daily site activities.
  • Upholding compliance with safety regulations, method statements, and risk assessments, while enforcing the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Implementing quality assurance measures, including Short Interval Control procedures and overseeing the daily maintenance of all systems.

Candidate Profile:

This role of Construction Manager is suitable for individuals who:

  • Possess a Level 6 qualification in Construction Site Management or a related discipline, or a Higher National Certificate/Diploma or degree in Construction Management.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in the setup and daily operations of a construction site.
  • Hold a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card – Supervisor - Gold Experienced Supervisor or Manager.
  • Have completed site-related training, including confined space, fire marshal, first aid, and temporary work supervisor certifications.
