Kier Group is seeking a Site Supervisor to become a vital part of our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks division, focusing on our water management projects.

Location: Midlands

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time – options for flexible and part-time hours are available upon request.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the workforce on various projects related to waste treatment. Your primary focus will be on the Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO) program, which aims to enhance infrastructure to manage stormwater and accommodate the growing demands of treatment facilities.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Acting as the on-site supervisor to ensure the effective execution of multi-site operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and permits as per company guidelines.
  • Collaborating with Operations Managers to maintain awareness of the construction schedule.
  • Conducting site inductions, issuing necessary permits/forms, and leading daily briefings, including toolbox talks, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Planning and procuring equipment and materials necessary for site setup and ongoing project delivery.

Qualifications:

This Site Supervisor role is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A solid background in a similar supervisory position within major civil engineering projects.
  • Understanding of contract stipulations, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, as well as cost control practices.
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
