We are seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee our Natural Resources, Nuclear, and Networks division within the Severn Trent Water Framework, specifically focusing on projects in the Midlands.

Location: Solihull, Midlands

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the workforce across various projects related to waste treatment. Your primary focus will be on the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) program, which involves upgrading facilities to accommodate the growing demands on water systems due to stormwater and population increases.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Acting as the on-site supervisor to ensure the successful execution of multi-site projects within the Severn Trent area.
  • Implementing Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and necessary permits in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collaborating with Operations Managers to maintain awareness of the construction schedule.
  • Conducting site inductions, issuing permits/forms, and delivering daily briefings, including toolbox talks, while maintaining accurate records such as site diaries and quality documentation.
  • Managing the procurement and planning of equipment and materials required for site setup and throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

This Site Supervisor position is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A proven track record in a similar supervisory role within major civil engineering projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, as well as cost control practices including forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
