About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Relationship Manager to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Surrey Agency, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans to turn our significant market potential into new business
  • Utilize our existing CRM database and create new prospecting strategies in our local community
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Deliver tailored insurance solutions to meet customer needs
  • Work collaboratively within our Relationship Management Team to achieve business growth

Requirements:

  • Proven UK general insurance sales experience, especially commercial
  • Experience of working in a face-to-face customer environment and holding client meetings
  • Experience prospecting for new clients
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Full UK Driver's license
