NJR Recruitment is partnering with a leading firm of pension specialists to find an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of group-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, advisers, and third parties, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Relationship Management: Maintain and improve relationships with clients, effectively handling their enquiries and providing them with accurate and timely information.
  3. Administrative Tasks: Ensure that checklists, flowcharts, and procedure notes are followed and completed at all times to reduce financial and reputational risk.
  4. Third-Party Communication: Engage with third-party providers to obtain accurate scheme valuations, including property-specific data such as rent review information, lease renewals, and insurance data as appropriate.
  5. Compliance and Governance: Be aware of and adhere to company, departmental, and product-specific procedures and policies, working by example in line with company values.
  6. Legislative Knowledge: Take personal responsibility for ensuring knowledge of HMRC, TPR, and ICO legislative practices and changes relating to all pensions administration and business products are kept up to date using all available resources.
  7. Project Support: Contribute to projects when requested and deliver within set timescales.
  8. Personal Development: Take personal responsibility for own development, highlighting training needs to the Manager.
  9. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of administration experience.
  2. Technical expertise in all areas of administration.
  3. Flexible approach to work and the ability to multi-task and move between tasks within the department at short notice.
  4. Ability to manage own workload considering quantity/quality and the solutions and outcomes required at the time.
  5. Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications.
