Role Overview:
As the Coordinator for Trusts and Foundations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the International Programmes Department (IPD) by:

Program Development:

Boosting institutional funding to secure essential resources for Muslim Aid's international humanitarian and development initiatives through Trusts, Foundations, and Partner Offices.


Quality Assurance:

Assisting the MEAL Manager in crafting and executing effective MEAL systems to guarantee quality service delivery across all initiatives.

Your contribution will be vital in this newly established unit, collaborating closely with partners, country offices, and donors to enhance systems within the IPD and support the dynamic global program portfolio of Muslim Aid.


Key Responsibilities:
Lead the donor mapping initiative for Trusts and Foundations, ensuring regular updates based on interactions with potential donors.
Oversee the proposal and concept development process for Trusts and Foundations and Muslim Aid Partner office submissions.

Assist the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager in managing a portfolio of institutional donor grant relationships and implementing engagement strategies for prioritized donors (including FCDO, UN agencies, USAID, SIDA, START Network, etc.).

Support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Manager in strengthening the global MEAL system, which includes ensuring high-quality data tracking progress, analyzing data, and documenting best practices.

Collaborate with Country Offices, Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance, Humanitarian, and Programme units to assist in disaster responses and related appeals.

Contribute to the development and delivery of capacity-building workshops for the IPD team, country offices, and partner organizations, whether in-person or virtually.


Candidate Profile:
To excel in this position, you will need:
A bachelor's degree.
Proven experience in fundraising and managing relationships with institutional and international donors, particularly focusing on Trusts and Foundations.

Knowledge and experience in monitoring and evaluating programs, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research data to support program development.

Significant expertise in budgetary control and grant management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at various levels. Demonstrated tact and diplomacy at all times.
Well-developed analytical skills combined with strong proposal and report writing capabilities.
