About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Retail Manager to join our team at Flannels, a leading luxury retailer in the UK. As a Senior Retail Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large team of managers in our flagship store in Leeds, ensuring that the store delivers exceptional customer service, meets sales targets, and maintains a high level of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of managers to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement visual merchandising plans, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store staff, senior managers, brand partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop internal and external talent, and provide coaching and development opportunities to support career growth and succession planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a large team in a fast-paced, multi-department environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury and premium retail at a senior management level.
  • Vast knowledge and passion for luxury retail, including building brand relationships.
  • A background that demonstrates the ability to increase sales and profits, control costs and stock loss, and manage senior managers.
  • Proven track record of internal progression and development.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
