Ground Operations Roster Management Supervisor

Join our team at Jet2 as we continue to seek exceptional individuals to enhance our award-winning workforce. We are currently in search of a Ground Operations Roster Management Supervisor to become a vital part of our Ground Operations Roster Planning Team.
In this role, reporting directly to the Ground Operations Planning Manager, you will oversee the creation and distribution of rosters for both UK and Overseas personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and disseminating rosters to Jet2 and Jet2holidays Ground Operations staff, ensuring compliance with national regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that roster plans are developed in alignment with working time regulations, company engagement standards, and operational needs, while adhering to EU, national, and company policies.
  • Work closely with both UK and Overseas stations to guarantee precise roster production, while suggesting and implementing strategies to manage costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with system vendors to fully understand business requirements and maximize system benefits, alongside fostering inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective delivery of the company's roster strategy.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of current UK and European working time regulations, along with familiarity with relevant rostering systems and fluency in Spanish.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive business innovations, and support roster planning initiatives.
  • Understanding of the operational demands related to the flying program and the capability to develop recovery plans to minimize customer disruption.
