Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are always looking for great people to join our award-winning team of colleagues. We’re looking to hire a Roster Planning Supervisor – Ground Operations to join our Ground Operations Roster Planning Team.
Reporting to the Ground Operations Planning Manager, our Roster Planning Supervisor – Ground Operations will be responsible for rosters production of UK and Overseas colleagues. Our successful candidate will construct and publish rosters to Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays Ground Operations colleagues in accordance with National legislation, company policies and industry best practices.

What you’ll be doing:

Ensuring the establishment and roster plans are produced in accordance with working time directives, company engagement standards and operational requirements and that rosters are produced in accordance with EU, National and Company Regulations and policies.Liaising closely with UK and Overseas stations to ensure accurate production of rosters, as well as recommending and implementing measures to control costs, increase efficiency and maintain legality.Establish and maintain professional relationships with system vendors to ensure the needs of the business are understood and to maximise the benefits and usage of the system, as well as inter-departmental relationships to ensure satisfactory delivery of company roster strategy.

What you’ll have:

You’ll have an in-depth working knowledge of current UK and European working time directives. Have working knowledge of applicable rostering systems and be fluent in Spanish.You’ll have the ability to supervise teams of people, leading business innovations and supporting roster planning strategies.You will understand the operational needs of the business regarding the flying programme and the ability to formulate recovery plans to mitigate disruption to our customers.
