In this role, reporting directly to the Ground Operations Planning Manager, the Ground Operations Roster Coordinator will oversee the creation and management of work schedules for both UK and Overseas personnel. The ideal candidate will ensure that rosters are crafted and disseminated in compliance with national regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that roster plans are developed in line with working time regulations, company standards, and operational needs, while adhering to EU, national, and corporate policies.
  • Work closely with both UK and Overseas locations to guarantee accurate roster production, while suggesting and implementing strategies to optimize costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with system providers to ensure business requirements are met and to maximize system benefits, as well as fostering inter-departmental collaborations to support the company's roster strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of current UK and European working time regulations, with familiarity in relevant rostering systems and fluency in Spanish.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive business innovations, and support roster planning initiatives.
  • Comprehension of operational demands related to flight schedules and the capability to devise recovery strategies to minimize customer disruptions.
