Position Overview:

Jet2 is continuously on the lookout for talented individuals to enhance our esteemed team. We are currently seeking a Ground Operations Roster Coordinator to become a vital part of our Roster Planning Team.
In this role, reporting directly to the Ground Operations Planning Manager, the Ground Operations Roster Coordinator will oversee the creation and distribution of rosters for both UK and international team members. The ideal candidate will ensure that rosters are generated in compliance with national regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that roster plans are developed in line with working time regulations, company engagement standards, and operational needs, while adhering to EU, national, and company policies.
  • Work closely with both UK and international locations to guarantee precise roster production, while also suggesting and implementing strategies to manage costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with system providers to align business needs and maximize system utilization, alongside fostering inter-departmental relationships to ensure effective execution of the company's roster strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of current UK and European working time regulations. Familiarity with relevant rostering systems and fluency in Spanish are essential.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive business innovations, and support roster planning initiatives.
  • Insight into the operational requirements of the business concerning the flight schedule, along with the capability to develop recovery plans to minimize customer disruption.
