Resource Planner

What will you do in the role?
The role is responsible for producing resource requirement plans and availability forecasts for all ground operations colleagues within Jet2.com. You will work closely with the Crew Training and Rostering Teams to manage resource availability and also with the Operations Teams regarding operational contribution levels. You will:Work to identify any shortfalls in staffing and optimal periods to allocate training and advise the relevant partiesWork closely with other teams to evaluate ongoing crew training needs and ensure these are scheduled in an efficient and cost effective wayYou will also provide a link to the Recruitment Team to provide insight into annual requirements and schedule new joiner timescalesWhat are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
The successful candidate with have excellent IT skills, and be confident in the use of Microsoft Excel, with an analytical and forward thinking approach to problem solving. You will also: Be an excellent communicator and a positive and supportive team memberYou will thrive on working in a fast paced environment and demonstrate a “can do” attitudeResource planning experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
