Ground Operations Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ground Operations Executive - Technical to join our team at Jet2. As a key member of our Ground Operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key contact for all aircraft weight and balance matters, including the timely processing of updated weight information within company systems, maintenance of the AHM565, reporting, promotion of best practice, and assistance with system developments.
  • Produce and maintain Ground Operations Instructions and associated company manuals, including the Ground Handling Manual and Ground Operations Procedures Manual, ensuring all stations are kept updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance and guidance on the carriage of dangerous goods items, ensuring such items are carried safely and in accordance with industry requirements, as well as assisting with investigations and other related matters.
  • Control and management of the departmental EGOS system, ensuring the provision of accounts, the issuance of documentation, and overall maintenance of the system.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues and service partners across the business, both in the UK and Overseas, and ensure we are compliant with the highest levels of safety and consistency across all areas of the operation.
  • Support the company Charter Programme and relevant lease aircraft operations from a Ground Operations perspective.

Requirements:

  • Extensive previous experience within an airside or customer-facing Ground Operations role.
  • Subject matter expert on procedures relating to dangerous goods with first-hand experience of aircraft weight and balance.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, with excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of a European language is desirable, Spanish would be an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
