Job Description:

The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flights. This position is responsible for monitoring the operational flying programme and coordinating support from all teams to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.

This role is a key contributor to the achievement of our 'On Time Performance' targets. The Operations Control Centre operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and this role is predominantly a 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) 12 hour shift pattern working in our operations control department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track all company flights, ensuring accurate tracking of each aircraft and timely completion of flight information.
  • Provide support to all flying operations, focusing on weather, aircraft serviceability, crewing status, and other potential issues that may impact flight safety.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company procedures and policies to ensure the safety of colleagues, customers, and company assets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within an airline operations environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in ground operations, passenger handling, and flying is an advantage.
  • Supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing or non-airline operational role is also considered.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and to tight timescales, with a strong focus on 'On Time Performance'.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
