About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide senior secretarial support to the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team within the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative services to the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team and other members of the department.
  • Communicate with external organizations and individuals on behalf of the department.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team, handling telephone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Provide advice on a wide range of administrative matters, resolving issues or referring them to the most appropriate person when necessary.
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive documents and issues, maintaining the strictest confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Diploma in Office Administration/Typewriting/Word Processing or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of secretarial procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheet, and presentation packages.
  • Experience of providing a comprehensive administrative/PA service.
  • Experience of setting up and using filing/IT systems.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and working to deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • NHS experience.
  • Ability to speak Welsh.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
