An excellent opportunity has emerged for a Ward Administrative Coordinator to become part of the team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver an effective and comprehensive administrative support service for the Ward, thereby enhancing the quality of service provided to patients and staff within the department.
This position offers a chance to contribute to the NHS and support community health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, family members, and visitors to the Ward, demonstrating professionalism and sensitivity while ensuring confidentiality at all times.
As a vital member of the Ward Team, the individual will provide essential administrative support to nursing staff. Candidates should possess a solid educational background, adaptability, and strong organizational skills. A courteous telephone manner is crucial for handling all inquiries related to patient care. Previous experience as a Ward Administrative Coordinator and familiarity with the Patient Administration System (WPAS) is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Proficiency in Welsh is a requirement for this role.
