Are you prepared to transform your approach? We are seeking a driven Lead National Account Executive to elevate our business to new heights. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, we require an individual who is exceptionally numerate, possesses outstanding relationship-building skills, and is intensely focused on growth and results.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Forge and sustain exceptional collaborative relationships across all levels, including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, ensuring that Trinny London consistently achieves a prominent share of voice, visibility, and exposure.
  • Facilitate and support successful commercial negotiations regarding terms, pricing, distribution, online presence, and marketing support packages with Buying and Merchandising teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of retail dynamics and category performance to pinpoint retail opportunities and strategic requirements.
  • Take full responsibility for all retail sales forecasting for the designated region/retailers, adhering to all financial deadlines and budget submissions while promptly identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to drive and sustain top rankings across all categories and locations.
  • Collaborate with planning to ensure precise forecasting for new product development and core lines, alongside proactive inventory and assortment management.
  • Oversee each account's profit and loss, balancing investment with revenue potential; monitor retailer profit contributions and achieve agreed profit targets.
  • Remain agile in responding to retail trends and maximizing opportunities across various retailers.
  • Monitor, manage, and enhance performance metrics.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and E-commerce to devise and execute an annual plan for each retailer, encompassing key launches, marketing initiatives, events, and customer engagement strategies. Regularly review implementation and performance against expectations.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring that broader teams are consistently updated on retail activities and decisions, always presenting the commercial rationale.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Retail teams, leveraging insights from the field to drive commercial growth.
  • For new trading partners, onboard and develop tailored launch plans suitable for the market and retailer to achieve and maintain top rankings.
  • Be a visionary, inspiring others to see and embrace the possibilities through effective collaboration.

Qualifications

The following skills will be beneficial in this position:

  • Proven and extensive experience as a Lead National Account Executive or National Account Manager, preferably within the beauty, luxury, or fashion sectors.
  • Strong numerical acumen, target-oriented mindset, and commercial awareness.
  • Solution-focused and innovative, balancing risk management with a growth-oriented perspective.
  • Open to challenges and passionate about the beauty industry.
  • Organized and structured, yet adaptable to ambiguity in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable in a startup culture, capable of hands-on work in a flexible and agile manner.
  • Able to provide a macro-level perspective and understanding, capable of forming strategies and articulating the rationale behind business decisions.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and development.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiations.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
