Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, we need an individual who excels in numerical analysis, possesses exceptional relationship-building skills, and is intensely focused on growth and performance.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and sustain outstanding collaborative relationships across all levels, including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, ensuring that Trinny London secures its rightful share of visibility and market presence.
  • Engage in successful commercial negotiations regarding terms, pricing, distribution, and marketing support with Buying and Merchandising teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of retail dynamics and category performance to pinpoint opportunities and strategic needs.
  • Take full responsibility for retail sales forecasting within your region, adhering to financial deadlines and budget submissions while promptly identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Create and implement comprehensive plans to achieve and maintain top rankings across all categories and locations.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting for new product developments and core offerings, while managing inventory and assortment proactively.
  • Oversee each account's profit and loss, balancing investments with revenue opportunities, and monitor retailer contributions to achieve agreed-upon profits.
  • Remain agile in responding to retail trends and maximizing opportunities across various retailers.
  • Track, manage, and enhance performance metrics.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and E-commerce to devise and execute an annual plan for each retailer, focusing on key launches, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring that broader teams are kept informed of retail activities and decisions, always presenting the commercial rationale.
  • Build robust working relationships with Retail teams, leveraging insights from the field to drive commercial growth.
  • For new trading partners, develop tailored launch plans suited to the market and retailer to achieve and maintain top rankings.
  • Be a visionary leader, inspiring others to see and embrace the possibilities through effective collaboration.

Qualifications

The following skills will be beneficial in this position:

  • Extensive experience as a Lead National Account Executive or similar role, preferably within the beauty, luxury, or fashion sectors.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, target-driven mindset, and commercial acumen.
  • Solution-oriented and innovative, balancing risk management with a growth-oriented approach.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry and open to challenges.
  • Organized and structured, yet adaptable to ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable in a startup culture, with a hands-on and flexible working style.
  • Able to provide a macro-level perspective and articulate the rationale behind business decisions.
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proven success in negotiation.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
