**About the role**
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will work alongside the wider Finance and Accounting department, where your role will focus on managing supplier records and invoices.
**What you will be doing**
- Ensuring all supplier records are maintained and updated on Aspire’s internal systems.
- Processing key supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
- Submitting and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Completing statement reconciliations. Assisting in the preparation of management reporting.
Y**ou will suit the role if you have**
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Excellent IT skills and competence in using a variety of software platforms.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills to manage and prioritise own tasks to manage a diverse workload.
- Good attention to detail.

**Salary**
£21,500 to £23,000 per annum (depending on experience)

**Location and Working Arrangements**
You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office.
We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.
**Hours of Work**
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
