**Job Title**:Administration Officer - Post 16
**Salary Range**:£23,000 to £24,000
**St - Eds Overview**:
St-Eds is an Alternative Provision Training Provider based in the heart of Norwich. We are here to support young people between the age of 14-25 who may be struggling with mainstream education, to help them achieve vocational qualifications and gain employment.
We have been operating from our centre in Oak Street since 2012 and deliver funded programmes that cover:
- Hair & Beauty
- Mechanics
- Construction
- Health & Social Care
- English & maths
- Catering
We recognise and specialise in supporting young people who may be disengaged from education and training and/or experiencing multiple barriers to successful employment and therefore we consider the Administration Officer a critical part of the student’s programme.
We work in partnership with a range of local and national employers to offer work experience opportunities, Apprenticeships and Enrichment programmes.
**Job Role**
The administration officer will be responsible for:
- Organising and carrying out administrative duties relating to the Study Programme.
- Supporting all students in achieving their potential by taking a pro-active, enthusiastic and flexible approach in accordance with St Ed’s ethos and operating procedures, policies and corporate strategy.
- Maintenance of the student bursary requirements for Study programme students
- Completing contractual paperwork including starter paperwork, monthly reviews, and leaver paperwork in accordance with ESFA guidelines.
- Supporting Post 16 with their contractual targets within the specified timeframes to maximise funding.
- Supporting the recruitment of approximately 130 post 16 students on to programme for this academic year
- Monitoring of student’s attendance, behaviour and achievement once on programme.
- Tracking the destination and progression once students leave us.
- General Office support including completing attendance letters.
- Filing, management of papers, and electronic documentation.
- Back up reception and telephone duties for the centre.
- Recording, administration and allocation of discretionary and enhanced ESFA bursaries relating to the attendance of young people aged 16-19.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by General Manager or Study Programme Manager that you are suitably trained for and considered capable of carrying out.

**Qualifications**:
Achieved a minimum of grade C, 4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
**Experience**:
Must be well organised, able to work in a demanding environment, have the ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, to collate information from multiple documents, to prepare for meetings and take meeting minutes.
Would be beneficial if you had experience of working with people who are vulnerable, disengaged from learning, possibly with multiple needs and or behaviour issues across and age range to include children, young people and adults.
